About the Centre
The Centre for Earth Studies (CES) has been set up in the Indraprastha College for Women (IPCW), University of Delhi in 2016. The Centre has been envisioned as a point of convergence for all research, projects, programmes and activities being carried out for ensuring environmental protection and sustainable development. The inaugural activities of the Centre are the release of the Journal of Innovation for Inclusive Development, launch of a Certificate Course on ‘Disaster Risk Preparedness – Knowledge for Life’ and the inaugural ceremony of the Centre included Van Mohotsav (Forest Festival) a tree plantation initiative in IP College.
